'Green Seasoning' is my love letter to my parents, aunties, grandmothers who I watched grow ingredients in their gardens, pick and blend until the house was filled with their staple scent. Every Caribbean household has versions of their own seasoning with these main ingredients at their core. In a Trinidadian household, chadon beni, scotch bonnet and pimento peppers light up every dish. 'Green seasoning' is the base for curries and stews. These illustrations are a reminder that our flavors are natural, from the land.
